New horse for Pieter Devos
Belgium's Pieter Devos has invested in a new mount. The 11-years-old Espoir (by Surcouf de Revel) is a new Grand Prix horse for the show jumper. The pair debute this week at the CSI2* in Lier, Belgium. Before it was his compatriot Olivier Seynhaeve who rode the gelding. Under the saddle of Seynhaeve Espoir jumped to victory in Strazeele, Bethune, Liege and Auvers. The pair also finished third in this years FEI Nations Cup Devision 2 in Lisbon.

Owner Bart Vandecasteele keeps ownership for 50%. The other half is now bought by Pieter Devos. In an interview with Equnews Olivier Seynhaeve and Bart Vandecasteele state; "Because our trade in horses is growing and we have invested in some nice young horses, it seemed logic to work together with Pieter. He will give Espoir more opportunities to compete on a CSI5* level."

"Pieter has always showed an interest in Espoir," continues Bart. "That is why we contacted him now." Also Pieter Devos confirms the sale. "I have always believed in Espoir and hope to compete him on the heighest level."
