Silver Medal-horse, Fernando V sold

In May, earlier this year the FEI World Championships for 6-year-old horses Silver medal winner, Fernando V (by Zapatero VDL) was sold to Eric Wiefferinck and Hank Melse.

The Dutch pair bought the gelding from rider/owner, Julian de Boers. Now the 7-year-old Zapatero VDL-son is sold to Bulgaria's Radovan Sillo.

Last year Fernando V and Julien de Boer impressed during the FEI World Championships for Young Horses in Lanaken. In the second qualifier the KWPN-gelding placed third, but with one jumping fault missed the initial qualification for the finals.

While packing for home, De Boer was offered a last minute starting spot for the finals and impressed with eventually claiming the Silver Medal.
