Team Glock welcomes Dream Boy to its stables
GLOCK Rider Hans Peter Minderhoud (NED) has been riding picture-perfect Dream Boy (Vivaldi x Ferro) since January 2016. From today, the nine-year-old KWPN stallion, previously owned by T.J.M. Coomans, J.T.M. Maree and Stal Brinkman, is in co-ownership of GLOCK and a full member of Team GLOCK.

As a six-year-old, the smart black horse already stood out with his performance under Gerdine Maree at the World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses in Verden, where he won a bronze medal. Since then, his career has steered a consistent course, steeply upward. One of last year’s highlights was the silver medal at the Dutch Dressage Championships Small Tour in Ermelo, where Dream Boy had already been presented by GLOCK Rider Hans Peter Minderhoud.

But alongside his sporting results, Dream Boy is also convincing in terms of breeding. In 2016, eleven of his daughters competed in the national mare show, among them four regional champions and two reserve champions. At the stallion licensing it was also one of Dream Boy’s sons who took home the reserve champion’s title. Moreover, five of his offspring made it to the VSN (Verenigde Sportpaardenhandel Nederland) top-ten final.

“Dream Boy has all the requirements of a Grand Prix horse. He has outstanding talent, incredible ambition and great character. What a joyful day! I am so delighted that he’s going to stay with us.”, said GLOCK Rider Hans Peter Minderhoud.
