Steve Guerdat takes leading position from Pieter Devos in World Cup Ranking after Basel

The Belgian rider Pieter Devos was the one leading the World Cup Ranking for quite some time. But after today's leg in the Swiss city of Basel, Devos had to step aside for home rider Steve Guerdat. 

Pieter Devos is now in second position with 70 points, 15 of those collected today. Guerdat, riding in front of his home crowd, collected 20 points and took the lead with a total of 75 points. After the last leg in Mechelen, he was in second place with 55 points. Italy's Emanuele Gaudiano remains in third place with 55 points. 

The fourth spot still belongs to British rider Scott Brash. He is 3 points ahead of Marcus Ehning, who took the fifth place from Martin Fuchs with 46 points. Fuchs is now in seventh position.

Prix du Vainqueur 2020

The winner of this Prix du Vainqueur was the Irish rider Denis Lynch with a total of 718 points. His best classes were the 1,55m of Friday and the 1,60m today. He collected 180 points in both classes. Penelope Leprevost took the second place, Bart Bles claimed the third place for the Netherlands with 688 points.
