Former British Team Dressage Rider, Reports Development of Coronavirus Capsule to be Mailed

Wayne Channon, a former British team dressage rider, reported Monday that a biotechnology company he heads has developed a coronavirus vaccine pill that can be distributed through the mail and self-administered by patients.

In an interview on the U.S. business network CNBC, Wayne said that the firm Stabilitech located about 40 miles/64km south of London hopes to produce millions of the coronavirus vaccine capsules by Christmas.

He did not say whether the capsule had been approved for use against COVID-19. β€œThere is a very big difference between how this will be absorbed by your system and a normal injection,” he said.

Wayne, 61 years old, a successful entrepreneur and longtime secretary general of the International Dressage Riders Club, competed his Dutch-bred Lorenzo for Britain at the 2005 European Championships and the 2006 World Equestrian Games as well as the World Cup Final in Las Vegas in 2007.
