Kevin Staut and Urhelia Lutterbach claimed the first place of the 1,60m-high Grand Prix CSI5*-W of Lyon.

Sixteen combinations returned for the jump-off in this Grand Prix. The victory went to home rider Kevin Staut. He piloted Urhelia Lutterbach (Helios de la Cour II) in 36,15 seconds to the absolute first place. Fellow countrywoman Alexis Deroubaix and Timon d'Aure (Mylord Carthago) finished second in 36,85 seconds. Switzerland took the third place with Martin Fuchs and Silver Shine (Califax).
Pieter Devos and Jade v. Bisschop (Ogano Sitte) finished fourth for Belgium, Emilio Bicocchi and Evita SG Z (Verdi TN) closed the top five.
