Seven combinations appeared in the jump-off of the 1,55m-high CSI3* Grand Prix of Knokke; but only one finished the course without touching a rail. That was Dutchman Harrie Smolders with Don VHP Z (Diamant de Semilly).
Smolders and fifteen-year-old Don VHP Z didn't set the fastest time with their 39,73 seconds, but they did ride the only clear round. The fastest time came from the Egyptian rider Mohamed Taher Zeyada and Vizalaty. In 36,3 seconds, they finished second with 4 penalties. Lorenzo De Luca and Soory also had four penalties and took the third place.
Juulia Jyläs sent Finishing Touch Wareslage (Quival) to the fourth spot, Michel Hendrix and Elco van Hof ter Naillen (Elvis ter Putte) claimed the fifth place.
