FEI arranges two stopover addresses for returning horses

"Over the next few days, more than 1,500 horses will travel across Europe to return home," an FEI announcement reads. "In order to avoid these horses ending up at all kinds of stables, two fixed addresses for stopovers were arranged, in agreement with the French federation: Le Mans and Lyon".

It is not clear if this means that the tours in Portugal and Italy will also have to be stopped early.

"It is very important that the stables where the horses of the jumping tours will spend the night have taken the necessary precautions. The French federation has acted quickly and has ensured that there are two stables where the horses can stop safely. The stables will be disinfected and veterinarians will be on site".
