Klaphake's Grand Prix-horse, Urus passed away

An accident while lunging has caused the death of international Grand Prix-horse, Urus (Canturo). The gelding was examined after the accident, but after his surgery it was diagnosed no longer to be able to enjoy his retirement painlessly. After it was decided to euthanize Urus.

Urus was competed by Enno Klaphake. Together with the gelding, bred by Paul Schockemöhle, Klaphake placed in a top five in the CSI4* Vejer de la Frontera, CIOY NC-Y Opglabbeek and CSIU 25 Valkenswaard.

Earlier this month Fredric Jönsson also lost his tophorse, Cold Play (Contendro I) after a lunging accident.
