Earlier this year we already wrote about a sexual assault scandal in French equestrian sport, but now Serge Lecompte, the President of the French Federation got discredited himself.
He did not assault anyone, just to be clear, but one of his employees did. Loïc Caudal was hired to drive the Grand National truck from one event to another while he was accused of sexual assault several times between 2013 and 2017. Caudal worked for the French Federation from 2014 to 2019. Lecompte himself says he was not aware about the accusations against his employee.
