In Knokke the day started with a 1m30 Grand Prix of the CSI1* competition. Of the 39 participants thirteen could qualify for the jump-off. A jump-off with thirteen had to decide the winner. In that jump-off especially the American riders proved to be on the ball: they took home two of the three podium placings.
Charlotte Jacobs and Coolivio PS (by Conthargos) took home the victory. Their time of 34.81 seconds was unbeatable for the other riders. Alexandra Crown jumped to second place. She managed to jump a clear round in 35.98 seconds in the saddle of Basic (by Silverstone). Madée Schuttenbeld and Piccolo R (by Silverstone) took third place. They jumped a clear round in 36.93 seconds.
Violette Bertrand (Dirka de Blondel) and James Wingrave (Kelly'tje F) finished in fourth and fifth place.
