Chianto (by Carano) who had his greatest successes under the saddle of Canadian John Pearce has died at the age of 25. Under the saddle of Pearce he competed at the 2010 World Equestrian Games in Kentucky where the duo jumped to fifth place with the team and to eighth place individually.
