The jumps were set at a height of 1.50m in the main class of the Sunshine Tour in Vejer de la Fronteira. It was eventually Dermott Lennon who speeded to victory aboard the 11-year-old Mjm Pursuit (Aldato). The pair was the only to keep the timer in under 59 seconds.

With over one second difference USA's Julie Welles followed as runner up in this 1.50m class. Together with the  11-year-old  mare,  Ambra (Quintender) Welles stayed ahead of Andreas Schou with Quadrosson Ask (Quadros 3).

The pair was followed by Derin Demirsoy  aboard his 17-year-old Belgian Warmblood gelding, Dadjak ter Puttenen (Toulon). Great-Britain's James Wilson completed the top five with the 12-year-old Nabab de Reve-mere, Imagine de Muze.
