Epaillard, Pender and Philippaerts color the stage in La Coruna

In an exciting 1.55m top class at the Worldcup competition in La Coruna (ESP), there was no holding back France's Julien Epaillard. Together with the 10-year-old son of Mylord Carthago, Billabong du Roumois, Epaillard was almost six seconds faster as his fellow riders.

Ireland's Michael Pender followed as runner-up with the 10-year-old HHS Calais (Cavalier Royale). Belgium's Olivier Philippaerts set a nice clear round, completing the stage.

Philippaerts finished third aboard the 9-year-old Belgian Warmblood-gelding, Miro (Diamant de Semilly). The pair was followed by Germany's Philipp Schulze Topphoff with Concordess NRW (Congress 4). Three-times Belgium champion, Jos Verlooy completed the top five with Luciano van het Geinsteinde (Quinn vd Heffinck).
