Horseworld reacts on Bertram Allen's case
Nobody questions the professionalism of the ground jury that made the decision on Monday in London to disqualify Bertram Allen. Still the horse world reacts shocked on this incident. A lot of his fellow riders support the young Irish show jumper. As we know him, his only goal is the wellfare of his horses.

"Bertram has been f**** today. How is is played today I'd rather won as well. Rules are unfortunatly rules and I respect them. Not that I could notice anything wrong."

As a token of sympathy, Michael Whitaker gave his symbolic prize to Bertram, who rode a perfect jump-off. Also Geoff Billington reacts

"A raser is a safe tool, but not if you give it to a monkey. It's like handing out a badge to a steward who doesn't know a f***ing think about horses. Silence was gold in this case. Bertram cannot even kick a paper bag, how would he ever hurt his horses? His riding is poetry and I offer my appologies to the Irish lad in name of the idiots who disqualified him."

Good to see Quiet Easy is still alive after loosing 0,0000001ml of blood and 0,01mm of his skin tonight
If that is Fair Sport how will you be able to compete with a chestnut or thin skinned horse ?
