Gregory Wathelet wins CSI2* Grand Prix of Hubside

In Hubside the CSI2* Grand Prix was jumped just now. 44 competitors started in this class. The combinations had a very tough basic course: only five combinations could keep their zero score, among them big names like Julien Epaillard, Niels Bruynseels and Gregory Wathelet. It promised to be a very exciting denouement.

In the jump off, several riders made mistakes. Gregory Wathelet was the last rider to go in the jump-off and at that moment Eden Leprevost Blinlebreton was in the lead as the only clear in the jump-off. Wathelet knew what he had to do: go faster than Eden and keep the zero. And he did. He rode Cocktail de Talma (by Baloubet du Rouet) clear in 44.12 seconds.

Therefore, Eden Leprevost Blinlebreton had to make peace with the second place. She rode Une Etoile Landaise (by Balougran) clear in 45.65 seconds. The fastest time came from Julien Epaillard. He finished with Calgary Tame (by Old Chap Tame) in 41.58 seconds, but missed one pole.

Max Kühner (Eic Cooley Jump The Q) and Niels Bruynseels (Diornella-DD) finished on places four and five.
