On home ground the German eventing team will have to do without Samouri du Thot. Germanny's eventing rider, Julia Krajewski has announced on her Social Media to forfait her horses' participation due to a minor injury.
The Milor Landais-son jumped to a Silver team medal at the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games in 2016. On her Instagram Krajewski writes : "Although the injury is healing day after day, Samourai isn't fit to compete in Aachen."
The pair will be replaced by Josefa Sommer with the 17-year-old Hamilton (Heraldik XX).
