Viktoria Gulliksen wins Young Horses final in Gothenburg. Scandinavian lady riders rule the show

While everyone is waiting for the World Cup that will be ridden later today in Gothenburg, the 7-year old horses already entered the show ring today to show their worth in their big final. 15 combinations entered the show ground for this class. Six of them managed to jump a clear first round and came back for the jump-off.

Amongst those jump-off riders was the Dutch rider Gerco Schröder. He and Glock's Novellist, a 7-year old BWP stallion, were the first to enter the ring. Unfortunately not everything went as planned resulting in 11 penalties. In the end this would result in a fifth place.

The victory went to Viktoria Gulliksen. With Ibiza, a KWPN bred, under the saddle, she jumped a clear jump-off in 42,78 seconds. With this time she beat the Swedish lady rider Säll Karlsson. Karlsson and Hot Stuff (f. Hip Hop) ended on second place. The third place on the podium went to a Scandinavian rider as well. Sofie Farman and Copernicus (f. Camaro M) cleared the course and finished in 47,96 seconds.

Linnea Ericsson-Carey and Contadour (v. Cosmeo) ended fourth.
