Major League Show Jumping: Eye Candy scores a hat trick

Eye Candy's tenacious trio is back and better than ever. After a hard-fought three rounds, Amy Millar (CAN), Jacqueline Steffens (CAN), and Paul O'Shea (IRL) climbed atop the podium for the third time after the $200,000 MLSJ Team Competition CSI5* at Caledon Equestrian Park in Palgrave, ON.

On home soil, Millar and Steffens kept hopes of a third MLSJ victory alive in the second round before Paul O'Shea (IRL) sealed the deal in the final gold-medal jump-off against Andrew Welles (USA) for A.I.M. United. O'Shea piloted Eye Candy's own Squirt Gun (10yo OS gelding by Diarado x Quick Star) while Millar rode Christiano (11yo BRAND gelding by Canoso x Compliment) and Steffens partnered with Eye Candy's Freaky (11yo KWPN gelding by Darco x Litho X).

Completing the podium, A.I.M. United's Daniel Bluman (ISR), Ali Ramsay (CAN), and Welles took home the silver medal, while Otomí Warriors riders Mac Cone (CAN), Rodrigo Lambre (BRA) and Rodrigo Pessoa (BRA) settled for bronze.
