The 1,50m-high Longines ranking class at the American Gold Cup on Saturday was won by McLain Ward and Franka Trichta. Ward also claimed the third place with Rapidash.

Franka Trichta (Azteca VDL) was able to claim the victory with McLain Ward in 35,74 seconds, beating Adrienne Sternlicht with Toulago (Toulon). Sternlicht crossed the finish line in 36,37 seconds. Rapidash (Chaqui Z) jumped to the bronze with Ward in 38,89 seconds.
The fourth spot went to Shane Sweetnam with Alejandro (Acorado's Ass) for Ireland, Andrew Kocher and Cosmona (Cosmeo) finished fifth for the US.
