Longines to sponsor Hong Kong race with over 9,750,000 Euro

The 130th birthday of the Hong Kong Jockey Club is celebrated with the renewal of the Longines sponsor contract. Longines will sponsor the Jockey Club with over 9,750,000 euro. Teh upcoming race at the race track in Sha Tin on December 11 will be a real spectacle with over 79 horses, from which 54 foreign starters.

That day the most important race will be the Hong Kong Cup. A track of 2 000 meters. Favorit jockey is A Shin Hakari with Maurice. Will Maurice (Screen Hero xx x Mejiro Frances xx) deliver the expectations? Maurice is a Japanese horse worth about 40 million US Dollars.

Further the Hong Kong Jockey Club has announced three more races:

– Hong Kong Mile over 1600 meter - favorit Able Friend
– Hong Kong Sprint over 1200 meter - favorits Aerovelocity and Peniaphobia
– Hong Kong Vase over 2400 meter -  favorit Highland Reel
