In Rome it was just now up to the riders of the CSI5* competition to take action for the first time. The opening class of the CSI5* competition was a 1m45 in which the riders jumped in two phases. Titouan Schumacher crowned himself the winner. He rode Eliot Brimbelles Z (by ET Crzootech Z Cl) clear in 26.19 seconds.
Rene Lopez Lizarazo and Stalognia (by Stakkatol) took home second place. They were able to record a clear round behind their name and clocked off in 26.44 seconds. Piergiorgio Bucci and the 12-year-old Cochello (by Casall) completed the podium after a clear round in 26.80 seconds.
Spencer Smith (Ayade Hero Z) and Geir Gulliksen (Grandino H) finished in fourth and fifth place.
