Betram Allan claims season first victory in Mexico
Today in Mexico the official kick off for the LCGT season was given with the first CSI5* in Mexico City. During the speed class it was none less then Betram Allen who claimed the first victory of the season. Aboard his Quite Easy 4 (by Quidam's Rubin) the Irish ride stayed ahead of the field.

With his 13-year old gelding Allen blazed trough the 1.45m high course like it was nothing and stopped the clock on an unbeatable time of 26.37 seconds. The pair crossed the finish more then a second before home rider Gonazales Azcarraga and  Quite Nice 5 (by Quiality) dit.

Belgian rider Jérome Guery followed in third place with his   11-year old BWP stallion  Garfield de Tiji Des Templiers (v. Quasimodo Z) . Guery took the talented stallion for a clear round in  in 27.67 seconds and  claimed the last place on the podium. By doing so he blocked an attempt from fellow countryman Nicola Philippaerts to reach top spot.  Aboard his sBs mare Ustuna Site (v. Clinton)  Philippaerts  had to settle with third place now.

The top 5 was finished up by home rider Enrique Gonzalez  on his Quilebo du Tillard (by  For Pleasure) taking fourth place and another Belgian rider Jos Verlooy  aboard his Napa Valley ( by Nintender) in fifth position.
