CSI5* Saut Hermès : The youth dominate on Day 1
On the opening day of the beautiful show that is Saut Hermès, the youth of the Show Jumping world  showed their dominance in the arena. Norwegian star Victoria Gulliksen won the opening class of the under 25 division, a prominent feauture class every at Saut Hermès. Aboard Viego les Hauts (Ogano Sitte x Clinton), Geir Gulliksen's daughter stopped the clock only two hundreths of a second faster than runner up Jonna Ekberg (SWE) and the mare Equita van't Zorgvliet (Cassini x Darco). Germany's Vanessa Borgmann took third place with the gelding Come to Win 51 (Cornet Obolensky x Coronino).

Nineteen year old Irish sensation and current world no.10, Bertram Allen won the 1.50m Prix Hermès Sellier. Riding the seventeen year old stallion Romanov (Heartbreaker x Fedor), this boy wonder managed to beat some the world's most experienced riders, including British veteran Michael Whitaker, who eventually took second place.  Belgium's Constant van Paesschen finished in third place , notching up yet more points for the young riders
