Henrick von Eckermann speeds to glory in the Longines Beijing Grand Prix
European show jumping riders shared the stage in the 1.50m Longines Grand Prix at the Beijing Masters today. From the seven combinations in the Jump-Off, four produced a clear round. Eventually it was Sweden's Henrik von Eckermann who speeded to victory aboard the 11-year-old KWPN-gelding, Cincitty (Numero Uno).

Von Eckermann stopped the clock in 38.38 seconds, advancing over two seconds on local show jumping rider, Ciren Bianba with High Sky du Sud (Thunder van de Zuuthoeve). The 11-year-old Belgian Warmblood Horse was before competed by Belgium's Patrik Spits and Dutch Aniek Poels.

Daniel Deusser completed the stage in the saddle of Gringo van 't Elzenhout (Charro 5). The pair was followed by Jirigala Erdeng with the Dutch KWPN-mare, Brikibo vd Bosbeek (Concorde) in fourth and Kenneth Cheng aboard Niels Bruynseels' former Pommeau du Heup (Helio de la Cour II).
