Maurer and the eleven-year-old Chacstara finished in 27,17 seconds. Colombia's John Perez took the silver in 27,34 seconds with Desperado DN (Argentinus), Alonso Mena followed with Quintus (Quidam's Rubin) in 27,95 seconds.

The fourth spot was for Manuel Alvarez Ruizgalindo and Enjoy (Ukato). Martin Alejandro Jiminez Valdivia and Bingo Ste Hermelle (Number One Disco) finished fifth.
