Sprunger and her bay Corland-son crossed the finish in 49.96 seconds. Also Paolo Paini made two clear rounds. The Italian rider impressed last week in Abu Dhabi and now settled for runner-up with the 13-year-old Ottava Meraviglia di Ca'San G (For Pleasure). The fastest time was set by Germany's Philipp Weishaupt.
Aboard the Check In 2-daughter, Che Fantastica Weishaupt however jumped one rail down placing third. The top five was completed by Linda Heed with Jarvis van d Abelendreef (Nabab de Reve) in fourth and Mark McAuley with Vivaldi du Theil (Quaprice Boimargot Quincy) in fifth.
