The finale of the Global Champions Tour in Doha has just ended. After two finale-rounds, a jump-off with 4 combinations crowned the Portuguese Rider Luciana Diniz as the winner. She not only won the finale today, she's also the winner of the end ranking.
Diniz and Fit For Fun stayed clear and finished in a time of 36.10. Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum finished second with Fibonacci in 36.55. Rolf Goran Bengtsson and Casall Ask, the combination who won the finale last year, finished in third place. Sheik Ali Bin Khalid Al Thani was the only one who didn't ride a clear jump-off: he and First Devision got 8 points. Rene Tebbel (Forlap) and Bertram Allen (Molly Malone V) were number four and five.
Scott Brash, the winner of the ranking last, got one fence down in each finale. He finished
eighth. Because of that he had to settle with silver for this years' GCT-end ranking.
