Luis Sabino Golcalves claims Welcome Competition Sjarjah

The 1m45 CSI5* Longines Ranking Welcome Competition in the Arab League of Sjarjah fell prey to Portuguese rider Luis Sabino Goncalves and his Unesco du Rouet (by Allegreto) with whom he completed in 30.75 seconds in the second phase of the competition.

He stayed ahead of Italy's Emilio Bicocchi and the Zangersheide mare Evita SG Z (by Verdi) with whom he completed in second place in 30.88 seconds. The third place went to Moh'd Shafi M. Al Remeithi and Puck (by Perigueux) who finished with 31.11 seconds. Then in fourth place it was Egypt's Mohamed Talaat and Tabea (by Contendro I).

For the United States it was Alice Debany Clero who claimed fifth place aboard Amareusa (by Baloubet du Rouet).
