Rik Hemeryck speeds to Grand Prix victory in Moorsele
It's a fact, the equestrian center in Moorsele, Belgium is back for more! The first international outdoor of the year was a success with Belgium's local show jumping rider, Rik Hemeryck on top of the CSI3* Grand Prix.

Sun was shining while only four combinations managed to keep the jumps untouched in the 1.55m Jump-Off. Rik Hemeryck speeded to victory for own crowd aboard the 11-year-old Tum Play du Jouas (Querlybet Hero). The pair stopped the clock in 37.93 seconds.

Michael Kazmierczak placed as runner-up with his Que Pasa 5 (Quite Easy) after a clear finish in 39.16 seconds, staying ahead of Great-Britain's, Jessie Drea.

In the saddle of Mullaghdrin Touch the Star (Touchdown) Drea completed the stage.

Local hero, Lieven Devos eventually had to settle for a fourth place aboard Giovanni van het Scheefkasteel (Darco). First rider at the start, Norway's Marine Myhrer Dynngeland, took all the risks she could with Douglas Hill.

Together with the ARD VDL-son the Norwegian showjumper set the record time but as well jumped one rail down.
