Rodrigo Pessoa too fast for American riders in New York
While later today it's up to the CSI5* riders to enter the show ring, the CSI2* riders have been riding all morning in New York. The last CSI2* class of the day was a 1m45 class that was ridden against the clock. In that class, the Brazilian rider Rodrigo Pessoa showed that he is still one of the fastest riders in the world. In the saddle of the 9-year old gelding Farrero (f. Boss), he cleared the course and finished in 57,61 seconds, beating all competition with almost three seconds ahead.

The second place went to Madison Goetzmann. She and Prestigious (f. Con Cento) jumped a clear round and finished in 60,42 seconds. Katherine A. Dinan, who was already place in the 1m15-1m20 class, ended on third place. Her Atika Des Hauts Vents left the wood untouched and crossed the finish line after 60,62 seconds.

Samantha Wight (Crunch de Troteval Z) and Natalie Dean (Ceitasi) completed the top five. They ended respectively on fourth and fifth place.
