Mexico City said Hello Mr President, and congratulations. Scott Brash (GBR) piloted the 10-year-old gelding to a first place in Friday’s 1.50m CSI5*. Tackling the Javier Trenor Paz designed track with precision and efficiency, Brash stopped the clock at 59.11 seconds. You can watch his winning round here if you missed the action. According to Brash Hello Mr President (by Comme d'Api  jr) worked through some arena spookiness earlier this week, but the stellar result indicates the gelding is now fully comfortable in the Campo de Marte venue.

Ben Maher (GBR) and 11-year-old gelding Don Vito (by Quaprice Z) claimed second position, proving that despite their nation’s infamy for rainy weather, Brits adapt well to the sunshine. Bart Bles (NED) and stallion Gin D (by Clinton I) took an honorable third.

Simon Delestre (FRA) comes off a recent, notable victory in the CSI5* Grand Prix at Saut Hermés in Paris. With 10-year-old gelding Filou Carlo Zimequest he secured a fourth place. The pair was followed by Eric van der Vleuten and Djoost Again.
