A stunning victory for the 64 year old John Whitaker and his Argento (Arko III) in tonights CSI3* 1m45 competition in Valence. The combination finished with 29.73 seconds on the clock.

Whitaker stayed ahead of French rider Julien Anquetin and the mare Talika des Isles (Jarnac) with whom he took second place in 30.06 seconds. It was then Alexandre Fontanelle who took third place aboard Quaprice de l'Etivant (Carpaccio) in 30.30 seconds.
The sixth place went to Whitakers son Robert and his Cash Sent.
