Belgian riders dominate Longines Rankingclass of Oliva

A busy international day in Oliva has just been finished with the LR of the CSI2* competition. Riders could not only gain valuable ranking points in this class but also a spot in the Grand Prix on Sunday. The Belgian riders dominated: the occupied three of the five top five placings.

The victory went to Koen Vereecke. He counted on Donna vd Windeweg Z (v. Diamant de Semilly) to jump a clear second phase in 21,31 seconds. With this time, he stayed ahead of another super fast Belgian rider: Jérôme Guery. Guery cleared the second phase in the saddle of Diego (f. Verdi TN) and finished in 21,37 seconds; David Will and Stakkato Rouge (f. Stakkato) completed the podium after a clear round in 21,63 seconds.

Matthew Sampson (Cristo Beech) and Constant van Paesschen (Veronese Teamjoy) completed the top five on fourth and fifth place.
