French domination in St. Lo continues in ranking class

In St. Lo the main number of the day was jumped just now: a 1m50 LR class in which was jumped directly against the clock. Riders could not only earn points for the Longines ranking in this class, there was also a place in Sunday's Grand Prix at stake. The class was dominated by French riders. Julien Gonin crowned himself the winner. He counted on Caprice de Guinfard (by Mylord Carthago) to jump a clear round in 62.71 seconds. 

Jean Luc Mourier and Kielekoo Van T&L(by Carabas vd Wateringhoeve) took home second place. They jumped a clear round in 63.76 seconds. William Whitaker completed the podium. He rode Galtur  (by Cornet's Stern) clear to the finish in 64.21 seconds.

For Dirk Demeersman (G'Majo van de Caloo Meerschen) and Ann Carton-Grootjans (Kai Licha de Carmel) there was a fourth and a fifth place. The two Belgian combinations jumped clear rounds in 64.24 and 64.25 seconds respectively.
