Jessica Springsteen and Rmf Zecilie top the CSI5* Brussels Grand Prix

Exciting sport was delivered in the 1.60m Grand Prix of Brussels. Eventually it was a clash of the titans between nine combinations, with Jessica Springsteen, as last to start on top. Aboard Rmf Zecilie she claimed a new Audi E-Tron and 40.000 euro.

First at the start was Sweden's Petronella Andersson with Castres van de Begijnakker Z (Coriano Z). The pair finished with one jumping fault in 37.37 seconds. The first clear round was set by Belgium's Pieter Clemens aboard the 10-year-old Akarad Hero Z (Aganix du Seigneur). Jerome Guery was able to best the Italian's rider time but jumped one down with his Olympic mount Quel Homme de Hus, As second last to go, it seemed Daniel Deusser and Killer Queen Vdm (Eldorado vd Zeshoek) could win, but all surprise came when last rider at the start, Jessica Springsteen eventually jumped on top.


Together with the 14-year-old daughter of Acolord, Rmf Zecilie Springsteen won, and was followed by Daniel Deusser and Lorenzo de Luca. Pieter Clemens and Jérome Guery followed as fourth and fifth.
