The 63-old jumping rider Leslie Burr-Howard has conquered a spot in the American Hall of Fame. She will join names as William Steinkraus, Frank Chapot and Ann Kursinski. Normally a introduction ceremonie would take place during the Devon Horse Show but this got cancelled due to the Corona crisis.
Leslie Burr-Howard is a familiar face in the American jumping circuit. She won several Grand Prix and got many other placings. She was a team member of the American team in several Nations Cups. Besides that, she was a part of the American team that won the gold medal during the Olympics of Los Angeles. She also won silver with the team in 1996 in Atalant.
In 1986 she won the World Cup with McLain. She's still riding at the highest level with Donna Speciale (f. Cavalier) and Quadam (f. Quite Easy).
