Given the current measures in Germany, it's not sure of the World Championships for young dressage horses can take place on the foreseen date. Germany announced yesterday that all 'big events' are prohibited until the end of August.
The World Championships for Young Dressage horses normally would take place in Verden from the 6th to the 9th of August. Given this new measure of the German government, it's unclear if this event can still take place or not.
The selections for the WC are currently happening based on videos.
The organization committee confirms they are discussing the problem with the FEI: "We have a plan, but the FEI still has to approve it. Until then I can't say anything about it", the spokesman says.
