Poden Farms rider Emily Moffitt has had to say goodbye to her top horse Winning Good. 41-year-old Chilean rider Jorge Matte will take over the reins of the thirteen-year-old gelding.

Emily Moffitt and Winning Good were an extremely strong duo at the highest level of show jumping. In 2021, the pair was part of the Global Champions League team London Knights who won the CSI5* Super Cup Final in Prague. In addition, the duo also secured gold in the CSIO5* Challenge Cup at the Longines FEI Nations Cup Final in Barcelona. They also recorded a double clear round at the CSIO5* in La Baule. In 2019, they made their contribution to the British team's victory in the CSIO5* Nations Cup in Dublin. Moffitt and Winning Good have thus already built up an impressive record together. From now on, the gelding will be seen in the ring with with Jorge Matte.

Emily Moffitt: "My dearest Winnie, where do I even begin. I have so many things to thank you for. From the lessons you taught me to the memories we created that I will keep with me forever. I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to be on this crazy journey with me the last 4 years. All I can say is thank you for being you. Go and continue to be great buddy."
