Nick Skelton and Mark Beever win FEI Award

Today the FEI Awards are handed out. In the category for Rising Star it is Germany's dressage rider, Sönke Rothenberger who claimed the honor. The rider has closed a successful year. In a reaction Rothenberger states this is the perfect ending of his competitive season.

With his talented Van Gogh-son Cosmo, Rothenberger was a part of the German Olympic Gold team in Rio de Janeiro.

The category "Against All Odds" was given to Brasil's Rodolpho Riskalla. After a severe accident, Riskalla fight his way back in the saddle onwards to the Paralympic Games in Rio.

The Best Groom Award and Best Rider Award was for the Olympic pair; Nick Skelton and his groom Mark Beever. Both earned an award as exemplatory for the promotion of our sport being a team sport.
