Scott Brash’s (GBR) Hello Annie makes her return to the Tour for the first time this year, and is joined by Hello Forever, the chestnut 9 year old who has been on fantastic form at previous LGCT shows. David Will (GER) brings his winning ride Mic Mac du Tillard, and Monodie H, a combination who helped to win the Global Champions League team competition in Shanghai for the Cascais Charms.
Young Belgian star, Jos Verlooy (BEL), brings two of his top horses to Chantilly, with the grey stallion Caracas - with whom he took the bronze medal with in LGCT Grand Prix of Mexico City - back in action plus the dark liver chestnut Farfelu de la Pomme. His compatriot and last year’s LGCT Grand Prix of Chantilly winner, Gregory Wathelet (BEL), brings the 11 year old chestnut gelding Algorhythem and fellow Belgian rider Olivier Philliapaerts (BEL) has with him the grey H&M Legend Of Love.
Bertram Allen’s (IRL) blindingly quick chestnut Quiet Easy will also be back for the LGCT Chantilly, as will Sheikh Ali Bin Khalid Al Thani’s (QAT) top horse, Vienna Olympic.
Tomorrow’s first CSI5* class will take place at 08:45 with the field of riders taking to the impressive arena for the first time. All the CSI5* action will be broadcast live via GCT TV, with the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Chantilly taking place on Saturday at 15:30 local time. The Global Champions League of Chantilly team competition will take place at 16:45 local time on Sunday 29th May.
