Swiss Federation takes accusations against Paul Estermann serious

The Swiss Equestrian federation has made an official communication after one of its major show jumping riders was accused of horse abuse. Last week Estermann's former groom, Zdenek Dusek of abusing his horse Castlefield Eclipse.

The Tjech groom Zdenek Dusek declared the mare Eclipse, who jumped to the fourth team Olympic place in London, was beaten by Estermann so hard,  the mare blood.

The federation declares to have received no further information but take this accusation serious. "The main focus is the horse welfare."

 

Meanwhile the police has started its research. Meanwhile Estermann is unguilty until proven different.
