Longines Masters: Los Angeles is out, New York is in
After three years in Los Angeles, California, USA, the Longines Masters is relocating its North American leg to New York, New York, EEM CEO Christophe Ameeuw announced.

At a cocktail party at the Peninsula Hotel, in New York City, Ameeuw announced the news. The Longines Masters of New York will take place at the newly renovated NYCB LIVE, The Home of Nassau Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum.

Also Native New York and 2017 Longines FEI World Cup Champion, McLain Ward is happy with the move.

“The Longines Masters Series has always provided highly competitive, world-class events in Paris, Hong Kong, and most recently Los Angeles,” he said. “As a local New Yorker, I am thrilled this event is moving to New York! It is a great opportunity to showcase the best in Show Jumping in one of the best cities in the world!”

The NYCB LIVE Nassau Coliseum will welcome the first edition of the Masters of New York CSI5* April 26-29, 2018. The series will now see its first leg take place with the Longines Masters of Paris CSI5*, November 30 – December 3, 2017. The Masters of Hong Kong CSI5* will follow February 8-11, 2018, before the final stage of the series arrives at its new, East Coast home with the Masters of New York.
