The beautiful castle of Chantilly is this weekends playground for the Longines Global Champions Tour. While the 5-star competition will start tomorrow, the 2-star competition has already started.
It were the French riders who ruled the first competition. Edward Levy won the competition in two phases with Quina (Quo Vados). He finished in 37,12 seconds. Second place was for France as well, Philippe Lazare and Start Bearn (Tresor du Renom) rode a very fast celar second fase, but they were not fast enough to beat Levy. The podium colored all blue-white-red. Simon Duquesne rode Saphir du Pestel to third place in 38,93 seconds.
Sandrine Berger was the first lady rider. She rode her gelding Calgary XI to fourth place. Nicolas Delmotte and Connor completed the top five.
