French dominate first day in Barbizon
This weekend Roger-Yves Bost welcomes the international U25 and 2* riders at his facilities in Barbizon, France. Today the international 2* kicked-off with a 1.35 speed class. A total of 38 combinations took the start.

Victory remained in France thanks zo Nina Mellevaey and Radjah de Talma (by Quidam de Revel). The pair completed the track in 57.87 seconds, almost three seconds faster as Baptiste Couperie and the Diamant de Semilly-son, Starsky de Semilly. Dutch show jumping rider, Carry Engelsman finished third as he crossed the finish with Berlint de Semilly (by Don Juan) in 61.15 seconds.

France completed the top five with Olivier Perreau (Gi gi van't Groot Ast, by Toulon) and Benoit Cernin (Smatch de Blondel, by Calvaro) in a fourth and fifth place.

CSI2* 1.40m 

The 1.40m Prix Theault saw 54 pairs at the start. Eventually it was Max Thirouin and Utopie Villelongue (by Mylord Carthago) who set the fastest time. The French combination concluded in 29.94 seconds. They were followed by Belgium's Maxime Hermagnies and the 12-year-old Uzar de Ste Hermelle (by Surcouf de Revel Sf). After a finish of 30.45 seconds. Nils Vilain and Regent de Montsec (by Quincy) placed third.

Camille Conde Ferreira and Pirole de La Chatre followed in a fourth place. Beglium's Arnaud Doem completed the top five. Together with the Quidam de Revel-sire, Hocus Pocus de Messitert Doem stopped the clock in 31,00 seconds.
