Kent Farrington speeds to victory in Shanghai
May 8th 2015 local time 12 o'clock time for the 4th leg of Longines Global Champions Tour kick off. On the agenda is the 2 phase competitionset at a height of 1.45m. American show jumper, Kent Farrington, or as the Chinese refer to; "Non stop money winner" made his name true. Aboard horse blue angel, a 13 year old mare, he finished the course in 32.8 seconds. Farrington wins the game and is followed by the German rider Marco Kutscher and van Gogh. Kutscher finished with only 1.5 seconds later. Swiss rider Pius Schwizer (Dundee v. Dwerse Hagen) takes the third place.

Both the 4th place and 6th place belong to Belgium. Constant van Paesschen and Citizenguard Million Dream finished at the 4th place, setting the time at 34.54 seconds. Compatriot Gregory Wathlet (Egano van het Slogenhof) made it to the 6th spot in this class. Dutch rider Marc Houtzager and Sterrehof's Bylou rode to the fifth spot.

The new World number one, Scott Brash, rode Hello M'Lady through the finish in 53.61 seconds. With one time penalty Brash finished 17th. Most riders however just warmed-up in today's class. The reason why so many retired in the second phase. The arena proved to be scaring enough for the horses. In one of the corners there is a 'fluffy' audio equipment installed. This impressed inter alia the horses of Jane Richard Phillips, Simon Delestre and other riders.
