Van den Brink tops the class for seven year old horses in Oliva
At the MET in Oliva the second week started already. Yesterday and today there were only classes for young horses. Yesterday there were clear round classes and today there were two phases special classes.

In the class for seven year old horses the win went to Dutch Stefanie van den Brink. With the Belgian Warmblood Janina 40 (s. Cicero Z) the rider for Ashford Farm was clear in a time of 37.99 seconds. Second place went to Germany's Torben Köhlbrandt. He also rode a clear round with Espace Killy (s. Alba 69) and did this in 38.26 seconds. British Alice Watson ended on third place with E Pilotta (s. Baloubet du Rouet). They had zero penalties in a time of 38.87 seconds.

The top five was completed by Dayro Arroyave with Jewel 8 (s. Kannan) and Michael Hughes with Jeco van het Swennenhog (s. Epleaser Van 'T Heike). They stayed clear in respectively 39.18 and 39.56 seconds.

French rider Harold Boisset ended on first and second place in the class for six year old horses. With Katinka vh Valenberghof (s. Corland) he stayed clear in 36.06 seconds. That was good enough for victory. He tried to do the same a little bit later with Kitty S (s. Diarado) but was a little bit slower in 36.86 seconds. Home rider Fernando Foucade Lopez ended on third place with Artemisia Della Favorita (s. Diamant de Semilly). For them we noted a clear round in exact 37.00 seconds.

Torben Köhlbrandt came in fourth with Gepsom Gold (s. Gepsom) in 37.13 seconds. Anouk de Ruijter and Fiorie (s. Zacharov) were fifth in 37.48 seconds.

In the class for five year old horses the victory was for Hans-Jörn Ottens. He rode a clear round with the gelding Cronos L (s. Cellestial) in 29.03 seconds. British Taisie de Gruchy was second with Live The Life (s. Zanzibar). We noted zero penalties in 30.87 seconds for them. Mackenzie Ray ended on third spot with Directeur (s. Diarado). They also stayed clear and this in a time of 31.22 seconds.

The top five was completed by even more British combinations. Will Edwards was fourth with Tinkas Brook II (s. Zambesi). They had a clear round in 31.58 seconds. Laura Johnson and Off The Record stayed clear in 31.79 seconds and became fifth.
