After a successful day of cross country at Le Lion d’Angers, James Avery and Izzy Taylor are leading in the World Championships Eventing for young horses.
James Avery and Vitali claim the current first place in the class for seven-year-olds. After the cross country their total penalty number is 43,6, 0,7 points less than British Mary King and King Robert. Australia’s Christopher Burton holds third place for now.
In the class for six-year-olds, it’s British Izzy Taylor in first place with Monkeying around. Taylor went clear through the cross country today, so she stays put with 37,6 penalties. Australia’s Paul Tapner and Bob Chaplin also went clear today and are in second place. Elizabeth Power is currently in third place for Ireland.
