Christian Ahlmann scores big in Longines Grand Prix Hong Kong
In Hong Kong the Longines Masters came to an end. The last class was the Longines Grand Prix. 27 combinations could participatie in this GP. Twelve of them came back for the second round. It were two tough rounds and even the best riders in the world had some difficulties.

It was Christian Ahlmann who won the GP over a height of 1.60m with the ten year old stallion Caribis Z (s. Caritano). In both rounds they managed to stay clear and they noted a time of 37.94 seconds in the second round. Ludger Beerbaum was just a little bit slower with his number one horse, Casello (s. Casall). The German rider and the fourteen year old chestnut didn't make any fault in an time of 38.58 seconds. Austria's Max Kühner completed the top three with the Cornet Obolensky son Cornet Kalua. They stayed clear in 38.85 seconds.

Further in the top five we saw John Whitaker with Ornellaia (s. For Pleasure) and Lorenzo De Luca with Halifax van het Kluizebos (s. Heartbreaker). They finished in respectively 38.87 seconds and 39.21 seconds.Click here for the results.
