Daniel Deusser takes pole position in Longines Ranking

With the beginning of the new year German show jumper Daniel Deusser takes the lead in the latest Longines ranking. Deusser starts the 2017 season as the international number 1 showjumper, followed by Christian Ahlmann and Kent Farrington. No less than 8 podium results including two victories in international CSI5* competitions sum up a very succesful december month for Deusser. With great performances in London Olympia, Geneva and Mechelen the Stephex-rider took over his teammate Christian Ahlmann and heads the Longines ranking with a 70 points advantage. US-showjumper Kent Farrington follows on Ahlmann with a 50 point difference on third position. Ward Mclain also climbed up one place and holds current number 4 position while Simon Delestre dropped three places and wraps up the new top five. Britain's Scott Brash is the newcomer by jumping from 13th place into the top 10. He holds the 9th position pushing France's Penelope Leprevost on number 10.
